We regard volunteer services with high esteem because they provide a forum for exchange
of ideas and sharing of experiences. We accept volunteers irrespective of nationality,
race, tribe, religion and political leanings, who have development as their primary goal.
There are lots more things to know about Kumbo than you might have thought. The numerous
eye-catching features such as mountains, hills and valleys endowed with water resources,
beautiful beaches and a good number of forest and animal resources. A people with diverse
cultures, but whom the spirit of hospitality and solidarity binds will make you feel at home.
Kumbo as a whole and Cameroon in particular has a friendly and conducive environment for
human habitation. Kumbo has two seasons; a short dry season from Mid November to Mid March
and a long wet season from Mid March to Mid November. Indeed Cameroon is "Africa in Miniature".

We want to highlight the importance of environmental education especially in schools, to create
awareness in our youths that are our potential successors. The effects of environmental problems
are not easily perceptible, but whenever they become easily recognizable it is always difficult
to provide simple and inexpensive reclamation measures. We therefore, see the working with school
ecoteams and environmental educators as a preventive measure to environmental problems, which,
Africa has always been a major prey to. There is need for a global and appropriate approach to
sustainable management of our natural resources.
We have underscored the following measures to foster environmental education:
- Design environmental projects for schools and communities.
- Visit school Eco teams in Kumbo and other groups
- Provide materials to schools and communities
- We also hope to organize competitive examinations in schools and
other groups accompanied by prize awards as well as organizing
Environment Man of the Year Award (EnviroMan)
